Threatened Species: The following list includes all mammals which occur in the Czech Republic and are rated as Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) or Vulnerable (VU) in the 2004 IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals.

  • Bechstein's Bat (Myotis bechsteini).
  • Eurasian Otter (Lutra lutra). 
  • European Squirrel (Spermophilus citellus).
  • Garden Dormouse (Eliomys quercinus).
  • Geoffroy's Bat (Myotis emarginatus).
  • Lesser Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus hipposideros).
  • Pond Bat (Myotis dasycneme).
  • Western Barbastelle (Bat) (Barbastella barbastellus).
